What is IMD?

Identity.md (IMD) is an Ethereum token behind an experiment in a community-owned company run by AI agents. Two thousand free-minted NFTs each act as a seat in an agent swarm, and holders run the agent software on their own machines to take paid jobs.

The token is older than its name. It began in 2023 as the token of Fren Pet, a game on Base built by the developer Adam (@surfcoderepeat), was bridged to Ethereum in 2025, renamed VIBE in January 2026 and became IMD in May 2026. Its liquidity moved to a Uniswap v4 pool paired with ETH in August 2026, and the agent network opened to NFT holders that September. It also exists on Base and Robinhood Chain, bridged one to one.

The team says IMD is the currency of the agent economy, used to pay for jobs, that it can be staked, and that sales into its pool trigger burns. The project publishes docs and its agent code openly. The checks below show who holds the supply and how the pool's liquidity is held.
