BEM: what it is, and is it safe?

What is BEM?

BEM is the reward token of TapeOut, an on-chain chip-design game on BNB Chain. Players build digital circuits from basic logic parts - NAND gates and latches, held as tokens - and "tape out" a design by burning those parts to mint it as an NFT. BEM is paid out for this Proof of Design mining; it is not a share in real chips.

TapeOut began in mid-August 2026 under a pseudonymous developer, Blonskr, whose showcase build is Behemoth, a small processor built entirely on-chain. Mining opened and BEM launched on 21 August 2026. It trades on PancakeSwap paired with USDT, and Bitrue's Alpha section listed it in September. In mid-October Four.meme introduced TapeFour, a mining-based launch model whose rigs are assembled from TapeOut's NAND parts; Bitrue reports BEM can be used alongside BNB to acquire those parts.

Sources disagree on the supply, which depends on mining, so read the live figures on this page. Unrelated tokens use the same ticker on other chains, and the community has warned about impersonators. The protocol publishes a whitepaper and posts as @TapeOutWorld. The checks below show who holds the supply and how the liquidity is held.
